Apple understands hype of the Road: Tablet PC is actually one-man show iPad

Apple on Wednesday released the second quarter of fiscal year 2011 financial results. On iPad sales below expectations, Apple COO Tim Cook (Tim Cook) replied: "Our production is not fast enough." In other words: the production of parts suppliers fast as the rate of sale iPad 2 .

This fiscal year, batterie g4 has sold 12 million units iPad, expected by the end of the sales will reach 40 million units. At the same time, Samsung will be sold in 2011, Galaxy Tab audience expected from the 10 million raised from six million to seven million units. According to reports, has "iPad killer," said Motorola's sales of Xoom also very mediocre so far: From the February release date, only sold 10 million units. RIM PlayBook's performance may be slightly better - according to Royal Bank of Canada estimates that sales of its listing on the first day is about 5 million units - but perhaps still too early to conclude.

It seems that the tablet PC market is still thriving iPad. But what prompted users to buy iPad it? Some people may think that this is because iPhone users want more than a large but smaller than the MacBook Pro equipment, but the fact I am afraid not.

iPad reason why sales were so good because the user value "apple" of the property, rather than the "Tablet PC" element. In other words, the user is the real value of one product, the other is Apple's marketing staff to create products around this environment of public opinion.

The product itself

Apple's secret weapon is that it captures not only the formal elements of tablet PCs, but also because the physical appearance of the iPad will be simple and intuitive user interface with integrated together.

The apples really how to do this, and not other vendors can easily emulate. Many companies are developing competing devices, but never grasp the essence. In fact, I do not think that Tablet PC will show "crowded" situation, but will long-term, "a dominant" status quo.

Media hype

IPad really make out the color is not the product itself, but the way Apple products discussed. While the Apple hype familiar with the road, but specific to the iPad, I think it is appropriate to call it the "reality distortion field." iPad is not a distortion of the marketing focus of product performance, but is diverted people's attention so that it no longer concerned about "the need for this product," such a problem.

Instead, we have been this fresh and cool products, attracted by the grand conference. Of course, there are more deep-seated things: batterie ght g3 products are always able to anticipate some of the ideas that some people want to feel - stylish, smooth, and the full sense of forward-looking technology.

I almost affected, although I do not really need this product, but also almost bought one. I just visited the PowerBook G4 15 M9422LL/A  site and see some cool pictures and interesting videos, so he began to very seriously consider the purchase plan.

Must be recognized that, due to a larger screen size, so games, maps and video applications on the Tablet PC's performance is indeed better than the smart phone. But I found that this advantage does not apply to all smart phones - I just want to use iPad.

Whether we like it or not, the media did this play a role in fueling the speculation. But it is also forced to move, because people want to see Apple's message. The more publicity the media to discuss the more the greater interest, in turn, promote greater media coverage ... ... so it goes, in circles.

I'm not sure we see the Tablet PC today after 5 years is to be widely popular, some people seem to think that Tablet PC will be a long, but most of these people are iPad users. I believe only speculation until the iPad retreat before we can really see the situation, a real understanding of tablet PCs on the role of everyday life.

iPad is not unexpected long been popular, but other manufacturers to master Apple's "trick" before, there is no so-called "Tablet PC market", this is only a one-man show it iPad
