Sony's 775 million yuan acquisition of Suzhou Epson

Sony (China) announced yesterday that Sony has signed an agreement with the Epson, Epson will be a wholly owned subsidiary - the production of small and medium in China, Suzhou Epson TFT LCD screen with 775 million yuan of equity price to Sony. This acquisition will enhance Sony's small and medium sized TFT LCD panel production capacity and efficiency, to produce automotive and smart phone with LCD screen and touch screen.

 It is reported that by the relevant government permits, the Epson Group and Sony Group will be held September 30, 2011, Suzhou Epson all options prior to the completion of Sony (China) transfer.
